Nursery Care – Newborns – Age 3
Our nursery is safely located in the upstairs of our Education Building. Trained volunteers keep our nursery during Sunday School, Worship, Wednesday Family Night and Tuessday Morning Ladies Bible Study. Nursery is also provided for many of our special events. Our nursery is carefully divided into different age groups or developmental stages: Infants, Crawlers, Toddlers and Walkers. We offer a secure, clean and self-contained nursery with a paging system for parents.
Youth Group
B.I.G. F.I.S.H. is our youth group for 6th-12th grades. It stands for, “Believers in God, Faithful in Serving Him.” Weekly meetings are held on Sunday evenings at various homes in the church body.

Our Connectional Affiliation
We are a congregation of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. The A.R.P. is an old Presbyterian and Reformed denomination with roots in the Church of Scotland. The A.R.P. was formed in Philadelphia in 1782, when two groups, the Associates and the Reformed, united together to form a new denomination. Both groups left the Church of Scotland under circumstances of persecution in the 1730’s and 1740’s. Today, the A.R.P. Synod has 10 presbyteries in North America and several agencies & boards to accomplish its work. The denomination actively plants new churches and supports missionaries all over the world. Our Church History
Our church was organized by First Presbytery of the ARP Church on March 25, 1875. It was a mid-point for the Prosperity Church to our southeast and the Gilead Church to our west. Preaching at Craighead Stand, an older name for Huntersville, occurred on Sunday afternoons as early as 1857.
